The Foundation presented a check for $850 to the Kapaa High School Virtual Enterprise Program.  Chris Farina, teacher and program coordinator explained that the program is an economics class designed to teach Senior students how to start up a business.  The students go through the process of brainstorming for an idea for a business, cresting a business plan, choose and develop a service or product, set goals, and strategize on how to promote and market their products  and ideas.

At the end of the year, the class hold an open house for the parents and the general public to showcase what they created. The funds will be used for uniforms, operating supplies, printing their brochures and plans, and for providing refreshments for their Open House.
