At the March 2021 board meeting, President Art Fujita announced that he had talked to Kamika Smith about possibly holding our fundraising lu’au on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Mr. Smith told him that although the capacity at Smith’s Tropical Paradise is currently limited to 50 people due to COVID-19 restrictions, this number is expected to be expanded over the summer. Mr. Fujita set the date of May 31 as the day when the decision would be made regarding holding or postponing the lu’au, so mainland Warriors can make their travel plans in advance.
The Foundation board hopes that all alumni and community members will join us in this fundraising event. All proceeds go toward programs that assist students and student programs at Kapa’a High School. Go Warriors!!
