The Kapaa High School Foundation will provide $1850 for the purchase and printing of 300 Senior Project T-shirts. According to Student Body President Taylor Relacion, the shirts are designed and selected by the students.
The Senior Project is a mandatory project for every senior. The students must pick a field of interest and find a mentor to who will help them develop and organize a project to help them learn more about the field of study or occupation. At the end of the year, each student must give a presentation to a panel to share their learning experiences.
Participating in the Senior project and giving an oral presentaion also help the student to fulfill one of their English requirements.
