The Kapaa High School Foundation presented a grant of $4000 to the Athletic Department to purchase new equipment for the school’s weight room
At the March Kapaa High School Foundation Board meeting, Athletic Director Greg Gonsalves presented a request for Foundation support in upgrading the school’s weight room. The weight room is heavily used by athletes from every sport. Most of the equipment was donated by generous businesses and individuals a while ago, but with years of use they have become old and worn. The new equipment will be help Kapaa High School athletes train in a safer and more efficient environment.
