Crystal Rowe and Tamarine Carvalho, advisors to the Special Education Community Based Program of Kapaa High School attended the November board meeting to thank the Foundation for the support during the year.  Also in attendance were students Kobe Iglesia and Chaunci Cummings, who presented the board members with perfectly made pumpkin pies that the students made themselves.

They thanked the Foundation for sponsoring the “Spread the Word to End the Word” tee shirts that was a campaign to raise awareness of the hurt that people inflict on others when they are insensitive to people with mental disabilities.
