The Kapaa High Foundation was able to help the Workplace Readiness Program with a grant of $1100. The money was used to replace yard maintenance equipment that was stolen from the school during the holiday break. Advisor Brandon Fujita thanked the Foundation for the support after the devastating loss.
The Work Readiness Program is part f Kapaa High Schools plan to have graduating students be ready for life after high school. The students get hands on experience is basic skills as they participate in an Aquaculture project and other activities.
