The Kapaa Chapter of Sills USA will be attending a statewide competition in February. According to adviser Ryne Terao the $911 that the Foundation donated will be used for dues and fees . During the event the students demonstrate their skills in different areas like automotive service technology, architectural design and drafting, robotics, carpentry, etc.
Skills USA is a technology program that gives students the opportunity to explore careers in the technology and industrial field. Besides acquiring knowledge of the arts, the also learn valuable professional skills like communicating, working as a team, time management, leadership, and about integrity in the workplace.
