The Peer Mediation Team advised by Kara Kitamura, received a grant of $1200 to cover expenses for year end activities.   Peer Mediation  is a proactive student-focused  program at Kapaa High School   that seek to empower students to create a safe and socially healthy environment in their school.  In their formal training, the students learn about anger management and methods of conflict resolution.  They are also expected to follow the Core Values of Loyalty, Respect, Integrity, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Honesty, and Trust.
