The Kapaa High Class of 1966 collected $1,700 at their recent class reunion to donate to the Kapaa High School Project Graduation 2013. The donation was given through the Foundation by class representatives Jo-Ann (Onuma) Harunaga and Susan(Fujimoto) Yamamoto.
Project Grad is an overnight alchohol and drug free party held exclusively for seniors on graduation night It features all night activities and entertainment with lots of food and prizes.
The goal of the community sponsored event is to provide a fun, safe and memorable evening on graduation night. The event is always a huge success with up tot 98% participation rate.
