In October of 2012, Coaches Scot and Aulani Kaui approached the foundation with a request for help in purchasing badly needed practice balls, bats, and gear. They also felt the team need a batting cage for practice. Like a lot of other dedicated coaches and teachers at Kapaa High School, the Kaui’s have been using their personal funds to help the team get what they need. The Foundation decided to give the Kapaa High School softball team $2,500 to help them in their fundraising efforts.
