The Kapaa High School Foundation recently gave out grants to help three students cover some of their expenses for enrolling in a SAT preparation class taught by English instructor David Mireles.    The students had to commit to attending intensive  classes  for six Saturdays with the goal of raising their SAT scores.   The  higher SAT scores will help the students get into the colleges of their choice and increase their chances of obtaining sch0larships and grants.

The students receiving the grants were Evangeline Cook, Gianne Pabustan, and Jerimiah Obrero.
