- 2008 Outstanding Educator Award
The 2008 Outstanding Educator Award was presented to math teacher Erin Millard for her extraordinary efforts in teaching, motivating and inspiring her students to learn. Mrs. Millard, a Kapa`a High School graduate herself (class of 2000), was nominated by student Kula Brede in an essay contest that went on to earn Kula a $200 prize.
