The Kapa’a High School Foundation held a Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Puakea Golf Course in Lihu’e. Originally scheduled as a 54-hole marathon, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to rain from the approaching Hurricane Douglas. Eighteen golfers braved the off-and-on rainy weather and participated. Thank you to the many donors, including Art (breakfast from Hanalima and Starbucks), Pono Market (Hawaiian Plate Lunches for all golfers and volunteers), Merlene (energy bars), Coca-cola (drinks) and many others. Thank you also to the golfers, volunteers, numerous monetary donors, Grove Farm (Warren Haruki), Puakea Golf Course (Casey Watabu) and organizer Art Fujita for making this a successful fundraiser!
