Ms. Crystal Rowe, special education teacher, received a Foundation grant of $1000 for the Special Education Community Based Instruction Program. This program focuses on developing life skills for individuals with special needs One of their favorite activities is cooking meals. The students learn the importance of planning and the safety and health aspects of preparing meals. The grant requested is to purchase supplies and ingredients for their cooking class.
